T8 LED Tube (Shatter Proof Film Glass) is a highly flavored in NA countries including US and Canada. It uses a PET film with inner glue to warp a clear glass tube body to create a shatter proof glass tube. The product uses high quality IC driver to power on, which could be single voltage input (AC185-265V) of power factor >0.5, or universal voltage input (AC85-265V) of power factor >0.9. It is designed to input at single end in order to ensure electrical safety and fitting in a circuit with direct AC input. Besides, to do direct replacement of T8 fluorescent tube in existing magnetic ballast powered circuit, the single end input tube could be short circuit at the other side to become ballast compatible, given the start is replaced with a LED fuse. In case of existing fluorescent fixture with ballast to be removed or new double end fixture, tube could also be designed in double end connection to fit in. The lifetime of the product is over 25,000 hours, with a warrant period of 2 years.
