T8 Emergency Lighting LED Tube is an upgraded LED tubular product designated to fulfill emergency lighting needs. In tall buildings of metropolitans, electrical outage due to fire without proper lighting during evacuation could be deadly. In countries where power plants do not work in stable condition, sudden shortage in light could caught workers in production line in potential danger. That’s the purpose of having emergency lighting LED tube. The first emergency tube model uses a glass tube mounted with an external driver and high-capacity NI-CD battery (4,000mAh). The whole setup could be fit in a single tube tri-proof fixture to ensure electrical safety. The battery could be fully charged in 24 hours under normal tube light working condition, and in case of power shortage, it can upkeep the same brightness level for 90(24W)-120(20W) mins. For the second model, it fit in the battery and an internal driver inside an aerospace aluminum housed tube body with PC light diffuser. The battery (1,400mAh) could be fully charged in 8 hours, and in case of emergency, it could retain an adequate emergency brightness at 3W for 90 mins. The product is certified by TUV and SGS with CE, RoHS and ERP, and so as CB.

Our product Is produced with high quality SMD 2835 chips of high lighting efficacy (100lm/W – 160lm/W) and color rendering (CRI80-97). We offer full range of color temperature, ranging from 3000-6500K, and a particular cold color temperature of 8000-12000K to best fit different installation environment. The product beam angle is 320°.

For external driver and battery model, the tube body uses clear or frosted glass of higher light transmission and perfect diffusion or shatterproof glass is also optional. For internal driver and battery model, an aerospace aluminum body tube with PC cover is used. The end cap is made of fire resistive PC material of different length.
The product uses high quality IC driver to power on, which could be single voltage input (AC185-265V) of power factor >0.5 with no light flickering. It is designed to input at single end in order to ensure electrical safety and fitting in a circuit with direct AC input. The lifetime of the product is over 25,000 hours, with a warrant period of 2 years.

The product is widely applicable to any locations which emergency is important. It could be tall residential or office buildings of high human density. For giant supermarkets and shopping malls with great human traffic, it is important to upkeep emergency lighting in enclosed area without sufficient natural lighting. This is also true for hotels which resides large population or restaurants where fire is used intensively. In hospitals occupied with injured or sick patients with lower action ability, emergency lighting during any incident or power shortage is necessary to keep people calm and to guide rescuing force in swift remediation actions. Emergency could also be necessary in carparks which usually located in basement or built with enclosed environment with insufficient natural lighting.
