LED SMD Bulb (Emergency Type) is a specially designed LED Bulb light used to handle emergency power grid failure occasions. The bulb uses larger A series bulb such as A70 or A80 to hold a rechargeable battery inside, which can keep lighting on for 2-3 hours during power outage. The bulb is specially designed for area with higher risk of natural disasters such as hurricanes and earthquakes, or tall buildings subject to high damages in case of fire. They are also widely used in developing countries with unstable power supply. The power consumption of LED bulbs is as low as 9-12 watts and fully charging the bulb takes 5-10 hours. LED bulb could use Edison screw base of different sizes. The most common includes E27 base. For US market, E26 is used. If it is Australia and UK markets, bayonet base B22d is used. Emergency bulb could also be used as camping or hiking lighting together with a hooked lamp base. They can be mounted anywhere and trigged on and off using the power button on the hook base.
