Product Features

LED Bulb BR30 & PAR38 (Horticultural Lighting) are bulb shape plant growing lighting products aimed at providing light supplement to vegetables or fruits grown in soil, or use as light supplement to home or office growing potted plants. PAR and BR bulbs are good choice especially for potted plant growing as they have focused light source and relative strong lighting power compare to other bulb shape products. It uses full spectrum LED chips with dye cast aluminum body or ALU+PC body to create high power growing light source of adequately high PPF. The lamp uses high efficiency driver to ensure the high light output is based on low energy consumption to minimized lighting cost in growing. Currently, we have BR bulbs of 10W and PAR bulbs of 18W and 32W.

LED BR and PAR growing bulbs have very specific purpose to boost plant growing rate and plant growing quality. Under appropriate environment and nutritional condition as well as temperature and ventilation, the bulb lighting is adequate to raise vegetation speed, improve flower blooming rate and flower quality, and so as the character of the fruits of majority of plants. If UV source or Far-Red light is necessary to be added, XGY also support customization services. If the growing purpose is to support seedlings stage, we also have appropriate light spectrum.

Horticulture lighting is very popular European country such as Netherland and Germany for potted plants growing as well as USA. In Asia market such as Thailand and Japan, grow light are always employed as plant light supplement such as succulent. The product certified with CE and RoHS.

The growing bulb uses full spectrum 2835 LED chips of CRI>70 (Spectrum same as Samsung lm301b) and 3030 red light LED chips of 660nm to create a grow boosting spectrum closer to sunlight. The EFF ranges 1.5-1.9μmol/J. The color temperature is a 4000K which is comfortable to eyes compare to simple Red & Blue spectrum. If you prefer to have plant species specific growing spectrum, we have tailored standard spectrum for vegetables, fruits, Cruciferae, succulent, rhizomatous plants as well as seed growing. The product beam angle is 320°.

For the lamp body, as standard bulb, we can use ALU+PC body with opal or clear PC cover. For PAR, it is optional to use dye cast aluminum with plastic lens surface for higher lighting power. The bulb use build in driver which can be single voltage (AC185-265V) or universal voltage (AC85-265V) input. The installation is the same as standard bulb, which any Edison screw lamp base of appropriate size such as E26 | E27 | B22d are usable. If waterproof property is needed, IP65 lamp bases or fixtures could be used. The lifetime of the product is over 25,000 hours, with a warrant period of 2 years.

Horticulture bulb could have a wide range of using scenes. They can be installed in green houses and plastic film growing houses with appropriate fixtures, which are mainly used in growing lamp fixtures or lamp bases for soil fruited plants or potted plants growing. There are also professional plant factories using horticulture lighting as supplement of sunlight. In some ecological restaurant, growing light could be used to support growth of organic vegetables or fruits for dinning purpose. Growing light are also necessary for indoor fruit farm if higher yield rate and fruit quality is preferred. It is also appropriate to do home growing with lighting fixture as sunlight supplement or in basement as the substitute of sunlight.
