Halogen Lamps (C35 & G45 Series) are upgraded version of incandescent bulb, which are also known as tungsten halogen bulb and quartz bulb. Halogen added bromine and iodine to protect tungsten, as well as having much high efficiency compare to incandescent. On average, halogen bulb saves up to 30% of energy compare to incandescent bulb. Halogen bulb are available in a range of bulb shape and power rating. For bulb shape, the most common models are C35 and G45, which are also known as B10 and G14 respectively in US. They are also called candle or small globe (golf ball) shaped bulb over the world and are wildly use in ceiling lamp and table lamp lighting. The halogen C35 & G45 series bulb have power rating ranging from 18W to 42W, which the total lumen is within 200-590lm. Both Series can be seen in small Edison screw bases such as E12 | E14 as well as, larger Edison screw such as E26 | E27. Bayonet bases such as B15d and B22d are also available.
